The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is devoted to enhance the quality of care for all older persons through the use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging. ASCP of Orlando strives to give student pharmacists first-hand experience of patient interaction with the elderly, by addressing their concerns of drug interactions and disease state management. Through patient interactions and getting involved in ASCP, students are encouraged to take up leadership roles by gaining confidence in their ability to interact with others and develop time management skill. With great food and great speakers, ASCP would like to encourage students to attend meetings to learn more about consultant pharmacy!
